Welcome to QA International’s Visual Dictionary Online Store. The products for sale are downloadable versions of software produced and marketed by QA International. To purchase a product, select it from the list of products that appear in the menu on the left, ensuring that you have correctly selected the operating system that is compatible with your computer, whether it is Windows or Macintosh. For the list of technical specifications, refer to the section that contains the list and ensure that you have carefully read the list of technical incompatibilities. Once you are on the page of the product or products, click on the  button and you will be directed to your shopping cart. If you are a Canadian resident, ensure that you select “Canada” in the “Country” section, and enter your postal code in the box below. If you live outside of Canada select “Other” and enter your zip code/postcode. Click on the button  to ensure that the price indicated is final and that it includes taxes, if applicable. Choose a payment option among Visa, MasterCard or PayPal. To complete the purchase transaction, click on the button .
1. If your method of payment is PayPal, you will be redirected to the PayPal site where you must enter your user’s e-mail address and your password. Then click on “Connection” to enter your PayPal account. Once you are connected, you will be redirected to the Visual Dictionary Online Store to finalize the purchase transaction.
2. If you are paying by Visa or MasterCard, enter the requested personal information, the credit card number, the expiration date and the security code (CVV2). Fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory to complete the purchase. Click on to finalize the purchase. You will then immediately receive an e-mail from  confirming your purchase and sending you a URL link for downloading.
Check your junk e-mail box if the e-mail does not arrive within the hour following the purchase. If you encounter a technical issue during downloading, refer to our Customer Service section.
Instructions for downloading and deinstallation of the program
Downloading instructions for PC (Windows® 7, Vista, XP or 2000)
Click on the download URL you received from or copy and paste it into your browser.
A download window will open: click on “Register”. Register the product on your desktop.
Do not rename the product. We suggest you save this file for future installation if necessary.
Double-click on the .exe file (ex.: The_Visual_4_Multilingual_v4.0.0) to launch the installation software (see note below).
Follow the installation instructions. The program will create a directory and a group in your Start menu, where it will put two icons for starting the program and another for deinstalllation. It will also put a shortcut on your desktop.
To open the software, click on the “Start” button and select “Programs”; click on “QA International”, then the name of the software (ex: “The Visual 4 Multilingual”) and finally on the element “The Visual 4”.
Note: If the warning “A program is attempting to access your computer” appears, click on “Allow”.
DEINSTALLATION
Click on the “Start” button and select “Programs”, then “QA International”, then the software (ex: “The Visual 4 Multilingual”) and finally “Deinstallation of the element” (ex: “The Visual 4”). Follow the instructions on the screen.

Downloading instructions for MAC (Mac OS X v10.2.8 or later)
Click on the download URL you received from or copy and paste it into your browser.
Download the .dmg file. (ex.: The_Visual_4_Trilingual_v4.0.0.dmg). A window will open.
Click on “Register”.
We suggest you save this file for future installation if necessary.
Double click on the .dmg file. » (ex.: The_Visual_4_Trilingual_v4.0.0.dmg).
Open the new folder that bears the name of the software (ex: “The Visual 4”).
Double-click on the “Installation OS X” icon to launch the software installation.
Follow the software installation instructions. The program will create a folder (ex: “The Visual 4 Multilingual”) in the “’Application” directory of your hard drive and will put the appropriate icons there (ex: “The Visual 4”).
To open the software in window mode, double-click on the software icon (ex: “The Visual 4”) in the folder newly created by the installation program.
To open the software in full screen mode, double-click on the software icon (ex: “The Visual 4”) in the folder newly created by the installation program.
DEINSTALLATION
Drag the software folder (ex: “The Visual 4 Multilingual”) from your hard drive to the trash. You should empty the trash before proceeding with another installation.
QuickTime Installation
Some software, such as the Visual Multimedia Edition 4 (trilingual or multilingual version), requires version 6.x (or a newer version) of the QuickTime application in order to function.
